Sally is an Inc. 5000 CEO, keynote speaker, and leadership devotee with decades of experience in coaching, leadership development and recruitment. As the CEO of Bryant Group, a highly-trusted global leadership and recruitment firm, she has guided the company to record growth, serving many of the nation’s top colleges, universities, healthcare systems and not-for-profit organizations.
Sally has a vision for the industry that focuses on leadership excellence. She provides impact with client partners by building effective leaders through executive coaching and consulting, as well as through recruiting the best in the industry. Leaders placed by Bryant Group stay with the organization an average of more than seven years, one of the longest tenures in the industry. Sally has created an environment of success for her clients using a recruiting and leadership consulting formula that has been honed over decades and has served multi-billion-dollar organizations.
Prior to joining Bryant Group in 2007, Sally held a variety of senior leadership positions in advancement, as well as serving as a recruiter and sales leader in corporate America. She began her consulting career as the founder and President of DeChenne Company/Philanthropy Consulting, where she consulted with clients including the University of Southern California; the University of Nevada, Las Vegas; the University of Washington; Seattle University and others.
Sally has also served for the past 30 years in volunteer leadership roles in higher education, healthcare and other nonprofit organizations. She has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal on finance; highlighted by the CEO organization Vistage Worldwide, Inc. on Women in Leadership; and has been awarded the top CASE IV award for consultants, the John T. Shamblin Jr. Top Hand award, for service to the industry—an award only bestowed eight times since 1991. She earned her Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from the Honors College at Washington State University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and top three in her class.
