The Opportunity Overview

Cure HHT is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Operations to manage all business and operational functions. This will include three main areas of responsibility: budgeting, financial management and administration; information systems; and marketing and communications.

The VP of Operations will report directly to the CEO and work closely with other members of the leadership team as well as the Finance Chair of the Board and a variety of financial, management and fundraising consultants. In addition to organization-wide operating systems, they will have direct responsibility for the Community Engagement Services and strong collaboration with the Director of the Centers of Excellence program. This will include oversight of senior staff members in the mentioned areas and all financial management, including but not limited to managing and updating all investment policies for board approval; determining the right balance of annual, capital and endowment budgets; and oversight of the annual and three-year operating budgets.

Founded in 1991, Cure HHT is an organization focused on advocating for patients and families, raising awareness, guiding and funding critical research, creating lasting collaborations and encouraging scientists to work on new treatments for Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia, the second most common genetic bleeding disorder in the US. With this mission, Cure HHT has three pillars of service:

  • A therapeutic arm focused on attracting and directing the best medical and scientific researchers and driving industry partnerships.  

  • A global center of excellence in medical and clinical care to standardize and improve clinical care and increase awareness of genetic testing for early diagnosis.

  • A community engagement service branch to ensure a timely exchange of knowledge with all in the HHT community.

Location (Remote)

The Vice President of Operations has the flexibility to be located anywhere in the continental US, with a preference for the Northeast. Travel will be required as needed.
