  • implementing strategies to ensure programs are functioning efficiently
  • providing communication and coordination between advancement and the president's/CEO's office

  • working with Boards and other volunteer leadership to ensure continuity of fundraising progress
  • creating and employing communication systems

  • creating and/or revising infrastructure, such as development reports, to ensure consistency, clarity and accuracy
  • identifying foundation and corporate prospects, writing and presenting proposals, and/or working with foundation and corporate giving staff
  • writing a state-of-the-program document to provide history, the current status of the program and recommendations for future actions
  • meeting personally with the advancement professional filling the role to provide information and recommendations for a seamless transition
